Mick writes poems for both children and adults in genres ranging from humorous and funny, indigenous Australian and romantic love poems.

He also performs poetry for children and adults in the United Kingdom. His adult poetry workshops have proved a success in librarys across the West of England.

I'm ideologically unsound I am,
I'm politically incorrect.
I'm unsuitable and disputable and easy to forget.
I'm not viable, or reliable and often very tryable,
I'm not trainable or detainable and certainly not sustainable.

I'm not respectable or delectable,
but I'm very often defectable.
I'm deficient and insufficient and not what their looking for!

I'm not wealthy or very healthy,
if I was rich I'd soon be poor,
I'm not very clever and I don't know whether,
it's cos I'm thick as a brick
cos when I use me brain it causes me pain,
so instead I think with my *****.
